* update tidy from cvs
cd tidy
cvs update
cd ..

* make a copy
cp -a tidy tidy-YYYYMMDDcvs

* setup the autoconf scripts
cd tidy-YYYYMMDDcvs
/bin/sh build/gnuauto/setup.sh

* clean up the source directory
rm -rf build
rm -rf autom4te.cache
find -name "CVS*" -exec rm -rf {} \;
cd ..

* build the tarball
tar czf tidy_YYYYMMDDcvs.orig.tar.gz tidy-YYYYMMDDcvs
