provided as is. Note that I feel that the copyright
from the metafont sources still applies, my only statement
here is that I do not impose extra restrictions.
I got a private mail from the author clarifying the above paragraph. He
means that the same license that applies to the MetaFont version of the
TIPA fonts, which are released under the GNU Public License (see
/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL), also applies to the type 1 version
released in this package. Besides, he is donating to the public domain all
the _modifications_ that were introduced in the translation process.
