.TH TITRAX "3 Apr 1996" ""
.SH NAME
titrax, TimeTracker - a manager for time lists
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B titrax
[-\fItoolkitoption\fP ...] [-option ...] [file to edit]
.SH DESCRIPTION
The
.I titrax
program displays a list of projects, with an elapsed-time clock for each
project. The clock ajadecent to the currently highlighted project will be
running, showing the time used as HH:MM.
.LP
It also saves the stuff to a file for each day.
.LP
The day is called YYYY-MM-DD, and is located in the $HOME/.TimeTracker directory.
If you don't like this, set the environment variable TITRAXDIR to the
directory you want instead.
.LP
If it is given a filename, it tries to locate this in the ~/.TimeTracker directory
and gives you a chance to edit it. When doing this, "save" and "load" buttons
appear, together with the filename, and it does NOT count the time.
.LP
It reads the projects from the file "projectlist" in the ~/.TimeTracker directory.
.LP
The auxillary PERL program "sumtitra" may be used to sum the files to
give an hours-worked list for each week.
.LP
To the right of the command box is a counter that lists how much time has
passed, in the format "HH:MM[+-]MM". The last number is how many minutes you
have added or subtracted since TITRAX started.
.SH COMMANDS
The command buttons available are:
.TP 8
.B quit
Self-explanatory
.TP 8
.B +
Add 5 minutes to current project
.TP 8
.B -
Subtract 5 minutes from current project
.TP 8
.B add project
Give a name that will be added to the projectlist
.br
The new project is added after the currently selected project; if there
is no selected project, it is added as the first project.
.TP 8
.B edit project
Change the time worked on the project. There is also a button within
this dialog box for
deleting it from the projectlist.
.TP 8
.B pause
Stop counting the time
.SH BUTTONS
In the list, the left button will select the project. The middle
button will edit it, and the right button will move 10 minutes from
the current project to the one under the pointer.
All this is configurable via app-defaults.
.SH OPTIONS
.I titrax
accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command line options along with the
additional options listed below:
.TP 8
.B \-help
This option indicates that a brief summary of the allowed options should be
printed on the standard error. NOT IMPLEMENTED YET.
.TP 8
.B \-pi, +pi
Turns off (or on) displaying of the current project in the icon name
.TP 8
.B \-ip
Icon prefix string, to avoid the titrax icon jumping up and down in
a sorted TWM iconbox when the project changes
.TP 8
.B \-sp
Start in paused mode (no active project)
.TP 8
.B \-ap \fIhh:mm\fP
Set a time for \fItitrax\fP to automatically go into \fIpause\fP mode.
This is handy if you have a tendency to forget to pause \fItitrax\fP when
you leave for the day and leave it running all night.
\fITime\fP is in 24 hour format.
.TP 8
.B \-dir
Work in another Titrax directory
