This is an interim fourth source distribution of ISEM (Instructional
Sparc EMulator), prepared in January 2001. Suggestions on improving
the source distribution are welcome (mail isem@cs.unm.edu)
This distribution is available on ftp.cs.unm.edu in
pub/maccabe/tkisem.tar.gz
Requirements:
A relatively recent Linux system (tested on RedHat 6.2)
see the INSTALL file for information on making and installing this
distribution
Other sources of information:
labman.tar.gz a laboratory manual for the SPARC (the first
chapter still documents the old, text based, interface
to isem)

Directories:
build -- scripts and such for configuring and building the package
generic -- the parts of tkisem that do not change (too much) from
platform to platform
src -- C++ source code to build a tcl dynamic library for tkisem
(built in src/tkisem)
tests -- some simple (minded?) tests for tkisem. There is currently
no way to run these tests automatically during the build.
