TkMasqdialer is for use with Jeff Meiningers' Masqdialer daemon. The project
has been taken over by Charles P. Wright with many additions and has become
alot more stable. You can get it at http://cpwright.villagenet.com/mserver.
Requirements:
-------------------
1. Tcl
2. Tk
3. Wish
4. C-Masqdialer 0.1.0 or later
5. /dev/audio (If you want sound to be played. Dont have to though.). The sound
files have to be RAW (I think) Sun audio files (.au). For playing sound, it
just uses 'cat' to output the file to /dev/audio.
I am using Tcl8.0p2/Tk8.0p2 and dont seem to have any
problems. It might work with earlier versions, but I'm not sure.
Installing:
-------------------
1. Change directory ( cd ) to the tkmasqdialer source directory
and type in 'make install'
2. If you dont have make or are not running unix then I am at a bit of
a loss to help . If anyone wants to port this to windows then be my
guest . If you are on unix and are not running make then edit
the line in tkmasqdial :-
set Install_Dir "/usr/local/bin"
to the directory where you want to install the packages and then
copy the tkmasqdial and tkmasqconf scripts to that directory.
Once copied you should be able to use tkmasqdial immediately .
3. Add the install directory to your path if you wish by adding the
line to you .profile file :-
PATH=$PATH:/path_to_tkmasqdial
where path_to_tkmasqdial is the directory that you have copied the
files to .
4. Run it:
tkmasqdial
