**Note:** If you are using the `--project <tsconfig.json>` command line argument as per the [Configuration Options](../configuration.md), and want to apply this same behavior when launching in IntelliJ, specify under "Environment Variables": `TS_NODE_PROJECT=<tsconfig.json>`.
