INTRODUCTION

Tunapie is a directory browser for internet radio and TV streams
(shoutcast and icecast currently supported).

Tunapie will allow you to search for streams and then launch your
audio player (xmms) or nsv viewer (mplayer) of choice.

INSTRUCTIONS

Install tunapie (see INSTALL for details).

Tunapie is now set to automatically update the top 1000 streams for
radio and tv from the shoutcast server.

Set up the default path to your media player and nsv player in
file-preferences.

Filter stations by genre (genre box) or search using the search box
at the bottom of the window.

Play current selection by double clicking the station name or by
pressing the "play" button. Stop all current helper applications with
the "stop" button.

Add selection to favorites by pressing the "add" button.

Play selection in favorites by pressing play or double clicking.

Record selection by pressing record (on older versions of
streamripper you will need to rename the files from .mp3 to .nsv
to play them.

Files are saved in ~/.tunapie/

Please note that some nsv streams do not seem to work properly
with mplayer. Please report these as bugs to the mplayer list.

Let me know how Tunapie works, and please submit feature requests
and bugreports.
