umfpack for Debian

This is UMFPACK v4.4 and AMD v1.1.

UMFPACK is particularly interesting when coupled with ARPACK to find
eigen modes of generalized eigenvalue problems of the form :

A x = \lambda B x

for example in order to get smallest or largest eigen modes you have
to provide the multiplication by B^{-1} A. In order to speed this
process you invert B using UMFPACK and the arnoldi process will be
much faster and reliable than using an iterave method.
