It is believed chatting between users is nowadays done using more
secure facilities.
* Please check your /root/.profile if it executes mesg(1), and if so,
remove that (or guard it).

util-linux (2.40.1-2) unstable; urgency=medium
* last(1) has been split off to the wtmpdb package.
If you find last(1) useful, please install wtmpdb and accept the default
PAM configuration changes from libpam-wtmpdb.
* lastb(1) is removed. Please see syslog/journal for failed login attempts.
