<p><ph conkeyref="vbox-conkeyref-phrases/product-name"/> extension packs (file extension <filepath>.vbox-extpack</filepath>) extend the features of <ph conkeyref="vbox-conkeyref-phrases/product-name"/> on the host machine. <p>Extension packs can be installed and managed using the <uicontrol>Extensions</uicontrol> tool in <ph conkeyref="vbox-conkeyref-phrases/vbox-mgr"/>.</p>
<p>Alternatively, you can use the <userinput>VBoxManage</userinput> command line to install and manage extension packs. See <xref href="../cli_topics/vboxmanage-extpack.dita"/>.</p>
