    <p>Host Webcam passthrough is restricted to 640x480 frames at 20 frames per second due to limitations in the Oracle Solaris V4L2 API. This may be addressed in a future Oracle Solaris release.</p>
    <p>When the webcam is detached from the host the emulated webcam device is automatically detached from the guest
      only if the webcam is streaming video. If the emulated webcam is inactive it should be manually detached using the
        <userinput>VBoxManage controlvm <varname>VM-name</varname> webcam detach</userinput> command. </p>
    <p>Aliases <filepath>.0</filepath> and <filepath>.1</filepath> are mapped to <filepath>/dev/video0</filepath>, alias
        <filepath>.2</filepath> is mapped to <filepath>/dev/video1</filepath> and so forth. </p>
