The ISINDEX tag was used before <A HREF="../block/form.html">FORM</A>s became more popular. When
inserted in a document, it will allow the user to enter keywords which
are then sent to the server. The server then executes a search and
returns the results. The PROMPT attribute can be used to override the
default text in the dialog box ("Enter search keywords: ").

<LI>This tag should be inserted by the server if the document can be
searched. Merely inserting this tag will not make the document
searchable!
