Things I'd like to see before I consider this "done"
(in no particular order)

Work on the interface. I'm not sure I like all those windows popping
up, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Suggestions are
appreciated...
An attractive icon. I love icons, but can't draw for crap. If
somebody has something that looks nice and is appropriate, I'll
compile it in, and/or include it in the distribution.
Don't rely on dict to do my work. This should give extra speed and
flexibility, and also make it easier to install. Perhaps make a
library from the dict source . . .
Add printing capability.
Somehow provide easy access to the key for dictionary abbreviations
and pronunciations. Perhaps typeset phonetic spellings more
attractively.
Provide a GUI for configuration of default dictionary server, etc.
Implement more of the search methods that the Dict protocol allows.
Put Ambrose Bierce's "Devil's Dictionary" into dictzip format, so I
can look up words in it.
Figure out more about GTK memory management, and make sure there
aren't any memory leaks.
Get rid of the horrible hacks my early beta of Glade makes me put in.
Warnings, too.
