xca (2.5.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

XCA 2.5.0 has a number of changes to the core functions of XCA, including
a change from the primary build environment to CMake. A complete changelog
    is available at https://hohnstaedt.de/xca/index.php/software/changelog.

    Critically different changes however include:
      - Support for OpenSSL 3.0
      - Change from autotools/qmake to CMake for the build tooling.
      - Dropped support for Qt4 (Qt5 is required, Qt6 is possible in future)
      - Old XCA databases from versions prior to version 2.0.0 are no longer
supported, and will not be able to be opened.
      - XCA no longer supports OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.0; older OpenSSL
interfaces from versions prior to 1.1.0 will not be usable with the
        XCA software.

xca (2.0.1-1) unstable; urgency=medium

XCA 2.0 comes with major changes in the database backend. The file format
was changed to SQLite. Old databases can be opened and will be saved
as SQLite databases. They can't be used with pre-2.0 versions. A backup
of the old database in the old file format will be created automatically.

Server based databases can now be used as the data store. Currently,
    MySQL and PostgreSQL are supported.
