This package was debianized by Barak Pearlmutter <bap@cs.unm.edu> on
Sat, 29 Sep 2001 15:06:22 -0600.

Downloaded from ftp://ftp.cs.utoronto.ca/pub/radford/xgraph-11.tar.Z
via the program page http://www.cs.utoronto.ca/%7Eradford/xgraph.html

Nonfree forks:

Paul Walker at University of Illinois added animations and
derivatives. This code is under a highly non-free license. Two
forks based on this non-free code are available, but until the
license is fixed they cannot be packaged for Debian. They are not
  even legally allowed into non-free.

Something described as version 12.1 comes from
    http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/xgraph/index.html
    http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/dist/xgraph-12.1.tar.gz dated 20-Dec-1999.

Another version is available via anonymous CVS described on
    http://www.cactuscode.org/VizTools/xgraph.html

Upstream Authors:

Originally by David Harrison, between 1986 and 1989. Some
improvements by Peter D. Gilbert <peter.gilbert@compaq.com> and
Radford Neal <radford@cs.toronto.edu>. John Harrison made Cygwin
mods. Upstream sources released by Radford Neal on 2000-09-10.
See README.FIRST for details on who made what changes.

  The page http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/xgraph/ says:
   - interactive plotting and graphing, by David Harrison of UC Berkeley
   - animation and deritives, added by Paul Walker of NCSA
   - portability and bug fixes, by the VINT project
