Christian A. Ratliff <ratlifc@indikos.ctron.com> asked me to include
this warning about running xmeter on DYNIX/ptx 2.0 to 2.0.4:

  There is a kernel bug which causes the LAN driver to use
  up all of the 4byte STREAMS buffers for spurious control
  messages. This leads to a hang of all pty-based communication. :(
  There is a FASTPATCH available from Sequent for this problem; the
  patch is number "FP#204698.19224".
