Description: mp3 input plugin for xmms based on libmad
xmms-mad is an MP3 input plugin for XMMS based on libraries from
the MAD project. It also has limited support for playback of shoutchast and
icecast streaming mp3s.

Because it is based on MAD the plugin has several advantages over
the standard MP3 plugin that ships with XMMS such include using 100%
fixed-point arithmatic and supporting upto 24-bit output.
