This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of xvmount.
xvmount was written by "Tom" (Thomas Uhl) <uhl@fh-heilbronn.de>.
This package was put together by Volker Ossenkopf
<ossk@ph1.uni-koeln.de>, from sources obtained from:
sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/X11/xutils/xvmount36.taz
Changes:
* Removed revision control information from the sources.
(The original source consisted of RCS files. RCS information
was stripped to get ready-to-compile sources.)
* Changed the file system names in the source to fit
the new names in the Linux 2.0 kernels.
* Added installation and configuration to Makefile.
* Changed default location to /usr/X11R6/bin.
* Corrected msdos autodetection for large partitions.
* Added vfat support (without autodetection).
* Added configuration script xvmountconfig.
* Removed ext and xia filesystem support for 2.2 kernels.
* Adaption to non-Intel platforms by Paul Slootman
<paul@debian.org>.
* Fix for glibc-2.2.2 systems from Matt Zimmerman
<mdz@debian.org>.
* Due to a major rewrite in version 3.7 by Volker Ossenkopf
the source tree was detached from the upstream version.
