Installing the database
-----------------------
The Zabbix proxy needs an SQL database to run. As you chose to install
this zabbix-proxy-sqlite3 package you apparently want to use a SQLite3
database as a storage backend.
Create a new SQLite database with the necessary database schema:
-> zcat /usr/share/zabbix-proxy-sqlite3/schema.sql.gz | \
sqlite3 /var/lib/zabbix/zabbix.db
Change the owner of the database to the "zabbix" user and group:
-> chown zabbix:zabbix /var/lib/zabbix/zabbix.db
Set the path to your SQLite3 database in the /etc/zabbix/zabbix_proxy.conf
configuration file:
-> DBName=/var/lib/zabbix/zabbix.db
