This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution
because the original program does not have a manual page.

checks DNS zone files one by one for syntactic errors.
Lines containing errors are printed together with the file name and line
number to the standard output.

The program takes one or more filenames as arguments and reads the 
standard input if none are supplied.
