zookeeper (3.9.4-2) unstable; urgency=medium
The systemd unit is now installed as part of the zookeeperd package.
It uses LOGGING_JARS sourced from /etc/zookeeper/conf/environment to
configure logback on the classpath. Adjust as needed if your logging
needs are different, or for some reason you don't want logging.
zkCli.sh is configured with jline2 support.

zookeeper (3.8.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium
It is likely the server will not start on the first run, because of a missing
snapshot file, which was introduced a few versions ago.
To solve this:
- Add "zookeeper.snapshot.trust.empty=true" to your server configuration file
and start the server.
- Remove the property once you have a working server, because that check is
important to ensure that the system is in good shape.
For more information, see [2].

zookeeper (3.4.10-3) unstable; urgency=medium
In the interest of better default security, /var/lib/zookeeper is
no longer world-readable (see [0]). This may affect your installation
if you depend upon the log_dir being world-readable.
The default value of JMXLOCALONLY is now true (see [1]). Although
this won't affect the default installation (because remote JMX is
not configured out of the box), you may want to adjust this value
in /etc/default/zookeeper if you have configured your environment
to allow jmxremote.
The zooinspector JAR has been renamed from zookeeper-ZooInspector.jar
to zookeeper-zooinspector.jar.
